Guides

Step-by-step answers for putting an app you made with an AI tool online, with the database, sign-in and domain it needs. Each guide answers one question.

Where the app is now

Every way in ends the same way: the app checked, built and online at its own address, in your Tofu account.

  • In a chat with ChatGPT or Claude. Add Tofu to the chat, and the chat sends the files it wrote (Use Tofu in Claude or ChatGPT).
  • In a folder on your computer. A coding agent connected to Tofu sends the folder (Agent setup).
  • In a GitHub repository. Import it in the Tofu dashboard, and each push to its branch can go live (Deploy an app).
  • Not written yet. Describe it to the Tofu builder, whose cloud coding agent writes it and puts it online when you say so (Tofu builder).

How a guide is written

Each guide starts with the short answer, then the steps in the order you take them, a table of what the app gets, what Tofu does not do there, and the questions people ask next. Each shows the day it was last updated, and every detail behind a step is in the docs.

Weighing Tofu against setting up each service yourself? The comparisons put the two side by side.
