An app is one Tofu project: its own trytofu.app address, hosting, deployment history and settings. The Tofu plan covers up to 5 apps under one subscription and includes one managed database. Free covers one prebuilt static site.
Uploads and deployments are counted per UTC day, before any work starts. Past your plan's number, the next one is refused with a message that says which limit it reached, and the count starts again the next UTC day. What is already live keeps serving.
One daily limit for uploads and deployments sits behind every plan, shared by every account, and it is set well above any single plan. If it runs out, the refusal says it was the shared limit rather than yours — and no plan change raises it.
Connecting a domain you already own is included on the Tofu plan, HTTPS included. On a domain Cloudflare serves, you approve Tofu once on Cloudflare's own screen and it writes the records; anywhere else, Tofu shows the exact records to add and checks them. Buying and renewing the name is separate, with the registrar you choose.
Yes. Your database stays yours, and it is moved to your own account on request. After a failed payment or a cancellation, Tofu keeps it rather than pausing or deleting it, and arranges a transfer with you.
Payment runs through Stripe: card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout page and never reach Tofu. Open Billing in your dashboard to manage or cancel the subscription in Stripe's portal.
A failed payment deletes nothing: your source, deployments, connected domains, environment variables and databases stay where they are.
Paid plans are rolling out to invited users. Tofu is in alpha: every limit on this page is real and enforced, and there is no uptime guarantee or SLA yet.

Limits
The plans above are the whole offer. These are the edges of it, stated where the prices are.
Domain names. Buying and renewing a domain is a separate purchase with the registrar you choose; Tofu connects a domain you already own.
More than one database. One managed database is included for your apps. Additional databases are available as an add-on.
Unlimited anything. Uploads, deployments and repairs are capped per plan and enforced by the service. No plan is unlimited.
Annual billing. Plans are billed monthly. There is no annual plan.
An SLA on the published plans. Tofu is in alpha, with no uptime guarantee. An SLA is an Enterprise conversation, on request.
Team, today. The Team plan is not available yet, and each of its allowances is agreed with you before it is promised.
Server code on Free. Free takes a prebuilt static site. Server code, databases, custom domains and built-in repairs require a paid plan.
A higher shared ceiling. No plan raises the platform-wide daily limit that every account shares.
