Terms of Service

Last updated: September 20, 2026

These Terms govern your use of tofu at trytofu.ai, operated by the trytofu.ai team (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using tofu, you agree to these Terms.

1. What tofu does

tofu scans code you provide and returns an automated report of potential security, reliability, quality, and product issues, along with suggested fixes. It is an assistive tool, not a certification, audit, or guarantee.

2. No warranty — use your judgment

tofu is provided “as is.” Automated analysis can miss real problems and can flag things that aren’t problems. A clean or high tofu score does not mean your app is secure or bug-free, and you remain responsible for reviewing, testing, and securing anything you ship. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

3. Your responsibilities

4. Accounts, credits & subscriptions

5. Your content

You keep all rights to the code you submit. You grant us only the limited, temporary right to process it to produce your report (including sending it to our AI sub-processor), as described in the Privacy Policy. We don’t claim ownership of your code and don’t retain it after the scan.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from a vulnerability, bug, data loss, or breach that tofu did not detect or prevent. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

7. Suspension & termination

You can stop using tofu and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the service.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms; we’ll update the date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

9. Governing law & contact

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the operator’s jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Questions: support@trytofu.ai.
